This is the story of how we lost everything twice, rebuilt from a cement floor, and turned two decades of marketing systems into Rooster: an AI team that gives business owners their time back.
Over 20 years, Jessica and I launched and scaled business after business — from her thriving hair & beauty salon of 20+ years to a seven-figure international network-marketing organization with teams in seven countries. In 2023, black mold in our home nearly killed our family. We lost all of our personal property to contamination, and with nowhere to go, Jessica and I slept on a cement garage floor for three weeks with our boys.
At my lowest, I felt pulled back toward a stage — I tried out for America's Got Talent as a motivational speaker. I didn't make it past the first round. I went home more determined than ever, and started building Rooster.
One year later, in 2024, a flood took everything again. We bounced between motels and Airbnbs for months — this time with a newborn — while rent soared and my father fought for his life in the ICU. I knew my window was closing. I had to build the comeback while my dad was still here to see it.
In January 2026, I launched my first app powered by Rudy — an AI agent that helps business owners monetize their content online — and it solidified the founders circle that funded what Rooster is today: the #1 AI SMS Sales & Marketing Team for high-ticket businesses.
