The Film Room

Your AI watches the tape. All day. Every day.

Great teams win in the film room. This agent watches the best AI, SEO, ads and sales videos on YouTube start to finish, takes timestamped notes, throws out the hype, and files what's new where the rest of your agents read it before they work.

AI discovery can introduce buyers, but accurate information and a trustworthy owned website help convert them.

  • Keep business facts such as pricing, availability, service areas, and policies consistent wherever they appear.
  • Create focused pages for distinct customer use cases and support claims with credible customer proof.

I REALLY Want Open Models to Win, But They Just Don't Cut It (Yet)
AI agents

Open models can be cost-effective for bounded execution, but this test found frontier models more reliable at planning and long-running agentic coding.

From “I REALLY Want Open Models to Win, But They Just Don't Cut It (Yet)” · Cole Medin · 2026-11-05
  • Short-task benchmark scores may not predict performance on long-running agent workflows.
  • Track workflow completion, human interventions, and review quality alongside model cost.
  • A mixed-model workflow can assign planning, implementation, and review to different models.

Business data

Build AI-era businesses around hard-to-copy advantages such as trust, permission, audience, community, or unique business data.

From “8 Businesses for the AI Age” · Greg Isenberg · 2026-11-04
  • A niche audience and a recognizable, trusted brand can make a business harder to replace.
  • Look for underserved needs before building a marketplace, and plan how both buyers and sellers will find it.
  • Treat AI as an amplifier for a strong offer and customer relationship, not as a moat by itself.

Real cards from videos the agent watched, rebuilt from its own notes. Takeaways are the agent's, not the creators'; tap "Watch the source" to check any of them.

How much tape can your AI watch?

Runs in your browser. Nothing you change here is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Scout. Every two hours it checks the channels and podcasts you follow, plus daily searches for your topics.
  2. Pick. It ranks new videos by topic and by how fast they're gaining views, and skips clickbait before it spends any time on it.
  3. Watch. It watches the whole video and catches what's on screen as well as what's said.
  4. Learn. Each video becomes one card with the headline, the steps, the facts, the tools and a timestamp for each, plus scores for how new and how proven it is.
  5. File. Strong cards go into the shared brain your other agents check before they write, build or advertise. A morning recap lists the best ones.

FAQ

What is The Film Room?

An AI agent whose only job is watching YouTube. Every two hours it checks the channels and searches we follow, picks the videos most worth our time, watches them start to finish (it sees the screen and hears the audio), and writes a learning card: what's new, the steps to copy, the tools, and timestamps for every claim.

Does it really watch the video, or just read the title?

It watches it. The agent takes in the frames and the audio, so it catches what's shown on screen as well as what's said. Every fact and tactic on a card carries the timestamp it came from, so a person can jump to that moment and check it.

How is this different from asking a chatbot to summarize a video?

A summary is one video, once, and then it's gone. The Film Room runs every day without being asked, ranks what to watch, scores each video for how new it is and how well it's proven, skips hype, and files the good parts where your other agents read them before they work. The knowledge builds up over time instead of being forgotten.

What does it do with sponsored or hype videos?

It marks sponsored segments and scores every card for confidence. Claims that are only claimed and never shown score low and never reach the brain. Only learnings that are relevant, new and backed by what's shown get filed.

Can I give it my own videos to learn from?

Yes. Drop in any YouTube video or a whole playlist, like a sales course or an offer workshop, and it watches all of them and merges them into one playbook with the framework, the steps, the exact scripts and the timestamps.
