It says “Linked” but nothing posts to Facebook or Instagram
A green ✓ Linked badge means the account is connected. It doesn't guarantee Facebook or Instagram accepted the post. Work down this list in order.
1. Is it ticked for Text-to-Post?
In $OCIAL MEDIA / Connections, each linked account has a checkbox: “Post here when I text Rudy.” Unticked = Rudy skips it, even though it shows Linked.
2. Facebook is asking YOU to confirm your identity
This is the most common one. Meta blocks publishing to a Page until the Page owner confirms their identity — and nobody can clear it for you, not us and not support. Rudy will text you the moment he sees it.
- Open the Facebook app on your phone.
- Go to Settings → Account Center → Personal details → Identity confirmation.
- Follow Facebook's prompts and finish the check.
- Text Rudy — he'll send the post straight back out.
3. A temporary Facebook activity review
Sometimes Facebook pauses posting with a “we restrict certain activity to protect our community” message. There's nothing to fix on your end — it usually clears on its own within about 24 hours. Text Rudy after that and he'll repost.
4. The connection quietly expired
Social logins expire. When that happens we flip the tile back to Not connected and Rudy texts you the reconnect steps — so if you get that text, re-link the account in $OCIAL MEDIA and you're good.
